Today we’d like to introduce you to Roshan Gowlikar, David Nam and Bruno Veiga.
Thanks for sharing your story with us Roshan, David and Bruno. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
We’ve been best friends since middle school. So it’s very surreal that we own a business together; we went from being in a band in high school to owning a business and selling socks. And in a lot of ways, those two things are similar ventures for us. Both are creative outlets that allow us to bond and mature together. Except when you own a business, you have to file taxes.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
This entire process has been a cherished learning experience. From brainstorming business ideas to staying up late nights for photoshoots, we’ve had our share of ups and downs. But honestly, we’ve managed to keep the laughter going and we plan on enjoying every stressful moment that comes along the way.

We make expressive and fun dog-themed socks for dog-lovers. BARX SOX allows us to share our love for our favorite four-legged companions as dog-lovers and owners. We dedicated a lot of attention to each design and meticulously manufactured our socks to be of the utmost quality.
We promise that wearing a pair of our socks will capture the attention of any bystanders and put the focus on you when you walk into a room; it’s a huge responsibility and it ain’t for the faint-hearted!

What were you like growing up?
Personality wise, all three of us were very different. What we did have in common, though, is that we just never liked to sit still. We wanted to be a part of everything. We joined organizations together, did extracurricular activities together, and even started a band. Starting a company was just the next step in our friendship.
