Ter’Lisa, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
I started my company after I did a paint party as a part of my birthday celebration one year. I found that I really enjoyed it so much that I felt like the area I stay in would love it too. So I decided to do one but with my Queen Tee twist and I been in love with them ever since.

Has it been a smooth road?
Starting Painting with Queen Tee has been rewarding so far. In the beginning, it was tough because I didn’t know what to expect from my first events I did but after that it was fine. Of course, I made mistakes but with mistakes you learn lessons so I took them and improved my business.

So let’s switch gears a bit and go into the Painting with Queen Tee story. Tell us more about the business.
Painting with Queen Tee is completely mobile so we bring the party to you. I cater to each individual needs and wants to ensure their party is most memorable for them. I’m known for my turn up events. I take girls night out to another level. I specialize in all events from birthday parties to church events. I make sure everyone has a great time! As a company, I’m most proud of the success my team and I have had in such a short amount of time.

How do you think the industry will change over the next decade?
With any industry, I see big changes happening over the next 5-10 years. I just have to be prepared to make the necessary changes to keep my company in the game. I plan to add different themes to my paint sessions to keep the experience different from any other company.
