Meet Tiffany Haynes of Beyond Routine Planner in Melissa

Today we’d like to introduce you to Tiffany Haynes.

Tiffany, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
I began my career as Real Estate Broker’s Assistant where I self-taught myself graphic print design, marketing development, and created an in-house aerial printing shop to facilitate clients with large land listings and commercial sites. I went on to learn the development process of Texas land engaged in the planning and zoning procedures, attending council meetings and neighborhood re-zoning sessions.

From there, I went on to work in corporate banking, where I excelled from appraisal support to managing all high-risk issues within foreclosure finance, claims, and bookloss, working closely with legal, governance, and line of business executives.

I began VBS Real Estate began with just myself as a Real Estate Virtual Assistant with the goal of helping other Brokers and Real Estate agents with the knowledge I gained over the years and my virtual assistant company has grown to a team of hand-selected experts, trained and placed in a system that has been built by myself to ensure proven results and exceeded expectations on every encounter.

In working in that business and being the self-proclaimed business book junkie that I am I saw the need for myself, an entrepreneur and my clients’ real estate agents to have a daily planner that truly encompassed everything needed to run a business properly. With this inspiration and partnering with my COO, Tristan Skiles from my Virtual Assistant company we launched Beyond Routine Planner. We wanted to help agents and entrepreneurs construct their financial goals for the year and discuss how that transcribes to the things you need do every day to ensure you reach those goals. We teach agents and entrepreneurs that you cannot just focus on the day to day of business if you want to be in this for the long haul. You have to think of your business like a company, reviewing every subset of your business and ensuring those tasks are on your radar or strategically delegated to an expert in that field.

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
I am the only person in my immediate or extended family that does my entrepreneurs endeavors as my full-time job. It was extremely challenging trying to navigate the terrains of this life with no one to model after. I pulled in mentors along the way that have been paramount to pushing through the stereotypes and statistics of small businesses to grow and have my businesses become successful.

Beyond Routine Planner – what should we know? What do you guys do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
Beyond Routine Planner is different as it includes inspirations from some of my favorite business books to try and inspire agents and entrepreneurs to implement the controls and fail-safe plans that I learned from my journey of reading and implementing these strategies.

We also offer classes to support our customers and to get the most out of their planners. We are in this for a lifetime and want to see each and every one of our customer’s career hit a new high if they use this as a tool and not a bookend!

What is “success” or “successful” for you?
Did I impact someone’s life and career in a positive way? Are they better because they encountered any of my companies? Then I was successful.
