Today we’d like to introduce you to Dayna Cantu.
Dayna, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
My childhood experiences and being raised by a once immigrant, single mother molded the person I am today. Confidence and poverty were my biggest struggles. I grew an interest in affordable shopping and found healing and my confidence through Christ. Today, I am a strong kind human with a purpose to help others. I want to share this with women from anywhere in the world struggling with finances and self-love. I want to help them feel and believe they’re beautiful through affordable fashion and faith.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc. – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
Nothing is easy. God has tested my faith many times. I’d say the biggest problem has been believing and trying to please everyone. Staying true to myself and God has been the most rewarding.
Please tell us more about your work, what you are currently focused on and most proud of.
I focus on affordable fashion and inspiration through Christ. Being able to give hope and love is my purpose.
Which women have inspired you in your life?
My inspiration comes from my mother and older sister. They’ve taught me my values and have sacrificed so much for me. They’re the greatest example of humility and love. This is important to me because no matter where life takes me, I don’t want to forget where I came from.
