Hi Treasure , thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
i started my hair business 6 years ago at the age of 17 shortly after i got an opportunity to work at salon for the whole summer that was where i learned my business etiquette , customer services and so forth but from a young age i have always the gift in me i am also self-taught and i always said i wanted to make an impact so now i do that and i am truly blessed by how far the lord has brought me it is truly a passion that has turned into a great purpose ,it really is my place of ministry and service to people making the feel spiritually and physically beautiful , i am mostly in my element while doing hair being able to draw shapes on people’s heads be creative is a blessing hair is very therapeutic and i am very passionate about it is not just the money aspect but the true creativity and art in itself. it something for sure the lord has tailored to my own personal being to fulfill much purpose on earth it is truly a place one gets vulnerable and personal cause i am beautifying peoples crowns, allowing their self-confidence skyrocket as you can tell i am absolutely in love with what i do and truly called to do this .
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
for the most part honestly it has truly been a smooth part God has truly blessed me with amazing clientele this is something in my life that i have been truly consistent with it is a skill that is truly embedded in me and also a necessity in life i love seeing people confidence get boosted after the leave my chair the smile on their face and i always make a joke the only way i might stop doing this is if everyone in the world goes bald .

i am a professional hairstylist based in Dallas Texas i specializing in everything hair , from natural , hairstyles like locs, locs extensions for men and women , boho braids and so forth , i will say first and for most what sets me apart is my faith in God and me curating a safe place for my clients to breath and be revived and refreshed , my favorite compliment from my clients is that my space is peaceful , which is so factual i am mostly proud of my versatility when it comes to my creativity one thing i am also know for is very neat work , clean parts and a fast work ,
What has been the most important lesson you’ve learned along your journey?
i have learned time management i could literally scream this being a sole proprietor and business owner you have to be organized and scheduled time is an asset and i determine and delegate where my time goes which is the most effective and flexible also learnt communication on a daily basis i meet people from different ages, backgrounds , culture , professions learning how to communicate effectively is something i have learnt over the years , and lastly having standards cause a Nigerian 17 year old starting a business not many people take you serious or value worth but that also starts from within so over the years i have had to have boundaries and standards and truly taking my self-serious knowing my worth
