Today we’d like to introduce you to Addison Lloyd.
Addison, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
My name is Addison Lloyd, and I run a Dallas faith-based social club called 214 Social.
I started 214 Social because I felt the Holy Spirit leading me to create a community rooted in faith and genuine fellowship. Dallas has always held such a special place in my heart, and I truly felt the Lord calling me to build something meaningful for post-grad girls who are looking for connection, purpose, and deeper community.
Over the past few years, the Lord has been so incredibly faithful in my life. Through every high and low, every season of uncertainty, and every moment of growth, He has continued to pursue me, strengthen me, and remind me of His goodness. My relationship with Him hasn’t always been perfect or easy, but His grace has carried me through it all. Looking back, I can see His hand in every step, and I’m constantly in awe of how kind and faithful He is.
214 Social has become such a reflection of that faithfulness. What started as a simple yes to what God was placing on my heart has turned into a space filled with genuine friendships, encouragement, and girls who simply want to know and love Jesus more.
I’m so thankful for this community and for every girl who has been a part of it. No matter what season of life you’re in, you are not alone. God loves you deeply, and His plans for your life are greater than you could imagine.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Starting something new will always come with obstacles, and building 214 Social was no exception. There were definitely moments that challenged me and pushed me outside of my comfort zone, especially when it came to leadership, conviction, and staying true to the vision I had from the beginning. But one thing that kept me grounded through every challenge was my faith. Having a strong foundation in my Christian values reminded me that no matter what obstacles came my way, my identity and purpose were never shaken. It taught me to lead with integrity, stay confident in my decisions, and trust that growth often comes through challenges. Those experiences ultimately strengthened both me and the community we were building through 214 Social.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
One thing I’ve loved most about being part of 214 Social is that it combines so many of the things I’m passionate about. My background is in marketing, social media, content creation, and digital media, so getting to build the branding and creative direction for our Instagram has been such a fun outlet for me. I love bringing ideas to life visually and creating a brand that feels authentic and welcoming.
I’ve also always loved planning events, so being able to organize gatherings, connect with vendors around Dallas, and help curate experiences for the girls has been incredibly rewarding. It’s given me the opportunity to explore the city in a whole new way. Even though I grew up here, there are so many places, businesses, and people I probably never would have discovered otherwise.
But my favorite part by far has been getting to meet the girls in the community. Seeing genuine friendships form and creating a space where people feel connected and welcomed has made the entire experience so meaningful to me!

I think the biggest thing I’d want readers to know is that 214 Social has become so much more than just a social club. It’s truly turned into a community rooted in faith, friendship, and genuine connection. In a world where it can feel difficult to meet people or build meaningful relationships, it’s been incredible to watch so many girls come together and form authentic friendships through this space.
For me personally, it’s changed my life in so many ways. It’s brought me friendships I’m deeply grateful for, opportunities I never expected, and so much personal growth along the way. Being surrounded by women who encourage one another, support each other, and share similar values has been such a gift.
The Lord has been so faithful throughout this past year, and it’s been amazing to see how He has continued to open doors, guide every step, and grow this community into something so meaningful. I’m incredibly grateful for everything that’s come from 214 Social so far, and I can’t wait to see it continue to grow and impact even more girls in the future.
My hope for 214 Social is that every girl who walks into an event feels welcomed, valued, and leaves feeling more connected than when she arrived. At the end of the day, that’s what it’s all about creating a space where people can build community, grow in their faith, and do life alongside one another.
