Rising Stars: Meet Aideli Olivares of Dallas-Fort Worth

Today we’d like to introduce you to Aideli Olivares.

Hi Aideli , we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I am the eldest daughter of a hardworking family rooted in dedication and love. My mother has spent over 20 years pouring herself into cleaning homes, and my father has given countless nights to support our family through shift work. Watching them sacrifice so much instilled in us a deep drive to build something of our own.
For years, my mother has had a natural gift for creating beautiful charcuterie boards for family and friends. Time and again, people told her she needed to turn it into a business. One day, she felt moved to do exactly that — and Dsaboard was born.
I recently graduated with my B.S. in Nutrition and Dietetics and am currently pursuing my M.S. in Nutrition. Drawing on my background in business — from running my own floral business, to nutrition consulting, to serving as office manager in landscaping — I immediately stepped in to support the back end of Dsaboard. My younger sister, 18, is studying for her B.S. in Accounting and brings both financial precision and creativity to the team. Our dad and youngest brother pitch in whenever needed.
Together, my mother serves as our Creative Director, I lead social media and operations, and my sister handles logistics. We are a proud Mexican family from Jalisco, and we hope to grow Dsaboard into something that not only delights people but brings our rich culture to the world of charcuterie.
This is more than a business — it is our family’s next chapter.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
For the most part, the journey has been smooth, but like any new venture, it has come with its learning curves. One of our biggest adjustments has been learning how to properly price our work and present ourselves professionally in an industry that was completely new to us. It took time, trial, and patience — but with each event, we have grown more confident and more refined in what we offer.
Behind the scenes, there is also the quiet strength of our mother, who somehow divides herself in a million pieces and still shows up fully for everyone. Beyond Dsaboard, she is an active, present mom — driving to school, attending extracurricular activities, arranging private tutoring — all while continuing to pour her heart into this business. She does not just participate in Dsaboard; she leads it creatively, and she does so without ever letting her family feel less than her top priority.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
At Dsaboard, we specialize in crafting luxury charcuterie experiences for all occasions — from intimate gatherings and home celebrations to weddings and corporate events. No event is too small or too grand; we show up for them all with the same level of care and artistry.
What we are known for is our abundant, overflowing style — boards that are as visually stunning as they are delicious. Every arrangement is intentional, layered with rich textures, colors, and flavors that make an impression before the first bite is even taken. Clients consistently rave about both the beauty of our presentations and the thoughtfulness behind our flavor combinations.
What truly sets us apart is the cultural heart we bring to everything we create. As a proud Mexican family from Jalisco, we weave our heritage into our craft in ways that are both meaningful and unexpected. One of our signature touches is the incorporation of pan dulce into our tablescape arrangements — a warm, familiar nod to our roots that never fails to delight and surprise. We are also excited to soon be introducing jams imported directly from Mexico, bringing traditional flavors and a whole new dimension to the charcuterie experience.
We are most proud of the fact that Dsaboard is built entirely on love — a mother’s gift, a family’s commitment, and a shared dream. Every board we create carries that story, and we believe people feel it. We are not just a charcuterie company; we are a family bringing culture, flavor, and something truly memorable to every table we touch.
