Hi Ally, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I graduated from cosmetology school in 2013, but my love for hair started long before that ever since I was a little girl cutting all my Barbie dolls’ hair. After school, I worked in salons specializing in blonding and extensions.
About two years ago, a client came into the salon and started talking to me about the bridal hair industry. At first, I was hesitant because I felt like I only knew how to do blowouts and basic curls. But I decided to take a chance and work one wedding with her and from that moment, everything changed.
Since then, I completely fell in love with bridal hairstyling. There’s something so special about being part of such an important day in someone’s life. Being able to help brides feel beautiful and confident on their wedding day is incredibly rewarding, and it’s become a true passion of mine.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It definitely hasn’t been a completely smooth road. One of my biggest challenges was stepping into the bridal industry with very little experience in bridal styling specifically. I was comfortable doing blonding, extensions, blowouts, and basic curls, but wedding hairstyling felt like a completely different world at first.
I struggled with self-doubt and questioned whether I was good enough to take bridal clients. Building confidence in myself and my skills took time, practice, and a lot of patience. There were also challenges balancing the pressure that comes with weddings because every bride wants to feel perfect on such an important day.
But every challenge helped me grow. The more weddings I worked, the more confident and passionate I became. Looking back now, taking that first chance on myself was one of the best decisions I ever made
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I’m a hairstylist who specializes in luxury bridal hairstyling. I’ve been in the beauty industry for over 10 years, originally starting behind the salon chair specializing in blonding and extensions before transitioning into the bridal world about two years ago.
Today, I focus on creating elegant, timeless, and personalized bridal looks that help my clients feel confident and beautiful on one of the most important days of their lives. I’m known for soft glam styling, romantic updos, Hollywood waves, and styles that not only photograph beautifully but also last throughout the entire wedding day.
What I’m most proud of is how much I’ve grown both personally and professionally. I stepped into the bridal industry with very little confidence in bridal styling, and through dedication, education, and experience, I’ve built something I truly love. Being trusted by brides during such a meaningful moment in their lives is something I never take for granted.
What sets me apart is the experience I provide. I genuinely care about making my brides feel comfortable, calm, and taken care of throughout the entire process. I bring positive energy, attention to detail, and a passion for making every bride feel like the best version of herself. For me, it’s about more than just hair it’s about helping create memories that will last forever
Are there any important lessons you’ve learned that you can share with us?
One of the most important lessons I’ve learned throughout my journey is to never let fear or self-doubt stop you from trying something new. If I had let my insecurities hold me back, I never would have stepped into the bridal industry something that has now become one of my biggest passions.
I’ve learned that growth comes from taking chances, being willing to learn, and trusting the process even when you don’t feel fully ready. Every challenge, mistake, and experience helped shape me into a stronger artist and person.
I’ve also learned how important it is to genuinely care for people. Bridal hair is so much more than creating a beautiful style it’s about making someone feel confident, calm, and special during one of the biggest moments of their life. That human connection is what makes this career so rewarding to me
