Gaia, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I was born and raised on a farm in Kenya and twenty years ago I moved to the United States. I have always been intrigued by beautiful places, experiences, architecture, culture, art, and fashion. I believe that fashion inspires creativity, and personal style and has the power to evoke emotion that moves a culture from one direction to another.
As I have grown, evolved, and matured so has my personal style which I now consider to be classic, timeless, and feminine. I believe that there is a difference between fashion and personal style. Fashion refers to a popular trend at a specific time for example low rise jeans are trending this year and on the other hand personal style is timeless and elegant for example your classic black blazer.
This journey of self-discovery resulted in the birth of The Quaintrelle Lady a fashion, beauty, and lifestyle brand.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
The journey of self-discovery is never easy however, it is very rewarding. This process will challenge your values and beliefs. It will force you to try new things, discard old habits, learn a new skill and evaluate your actions. You will fall multiple times and you will get up multiple times. This constant pressure is how diamonds are formed.

The Quaintrelle Lady is a fashion, beauty, and lifestyle brand that was established in 2019 as a result of people wanting to shop my wardrobe. The Quaintrelle Lady YouTube channel focuses on style inspiration, style tips, and living a life of passion.
The word Quaintrelle emphasizes a life of passion expressed through personal style, leisurely pastimes, charm, and a cultivation of life’s pleasures.
What am I most proud of? I am proud of the person that I am becoming.
Is there anyone you’d like to thank or give credit to?
I am passionate about the things that set my soul on fire. I am inspired by life, soulful conversations, and beautiful sunsets. People who are passionate about the things they do light a fire under my feet and give me wings to carry on.
I am moved by art and made whole by fashion. My family and friends have been my biggest supporters. I will forever be grateful for them.
