Today we’d like to introduce you to Jesus “Zeus” Arreola.
Jesus “Zeus”, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
It all started when I was taken to my first full production show (Sullivan King at The Factory in 2022). Witnessing him mix my childhood favorite metalcore songs with dubstep blew my mind. I was inspired and motivated to become more than just a raver.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Nothing is as easy as it looks. It started with helping a friend host after-hours events and after many nights, the idea of becoming a DJ came to mind. Stepping into this world means learning hard truths: the masks people wear, the vices that lurk beneath the surface, the things that can end a career before it ever begins. Despite all of it, the scene is a beautiful experience, and every second I have invested has been worth it. This journey is a marathon, not a sprint.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I am a riddim dj who has expanded out to the Techno world. I am mainly known for my contribution to “Arrin Lifestyle”, “DownForWhateverPresents” and “Diztopian Nightlife”. I am proud of the friends that I have made and lessons that I learned in throughout this journey. What sets me apart from the rest is the support and energy I provide for my friends.
How do you think about happiness?
Video games, horror films and music. They all help me distract my mind from this fast paced life.
