Rising Stars: Meet Kheirieh Aleid

Today we’d like to introduce you to Kheirieh Aleid.

Hi Kheirieh, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
As being a UOS graduate from the United Arab Emirates gives me the advantage to think of impossible is achievable, as an architect, I have a generic passion for art and design. When I moved here with my family 6 years ago, I had the time to work on my interior design side to complete my professional puzzle. With time I got hooked up more and more to interior and furniture design, it was amazing for me how I can change big spaces with small touches and that is what makes me look for new areas that never imagined I would think of.

I’ve decided that I need to build my career around this concept, so I started an Instagram page to present my design ideas and yes, I’m more toward modern and glam designs.

During Pandemic, those skill seeds grew, and I became more obsessed with details that I implement in each design to give it its own touch. Each client’s design has its own story, this story was written to fill a special space-based on special desire.

I’m still writing those stories with my lovely clients and looking to explore the future and its opportunities.

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle-free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
To be honest, nothing is for granted in this life, moving from Dubai to Dallas with my husband and two kids were quite a challenge. But with challenges, you become a better version of yourself. So, to answer your questions yes, there were some struggles.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
The best thing that can describe my work is to make your home belongs to you and shows your personality, I love to understand my client personality and what they love and show it in their homes. I specialize in interior design, furniture, and decor. I have clients that are not happy with their space, and I help them to know their style what colors they love and what touches makes their space speak to them, with each client I always have a new different vision and experience that not only gives fabulous result with the space design but also it adds to my experience.

For me, interior design is not only making a beautiful space, but it means creating a space that reflects each personality and the things that the client love. I really love to spend time with the client to understand that aspects that I translate into colors, textures materials, etc.… With my architectural background, I also take care of the functionality of each space to make sure it makes the client’s life easier.

I’m most proud of my clients who trusted me with the most precious thing in their lives which is called” HOME”. I’m proud of the process of gathering the elements that end up with a beautifully unique space

I think what sets me apart from others is understanding the client’s lifestyle, personality and the things that attracts them, help them to create a special place that belongs only to them which makes each space I design a special space.

Can you talk to us a bit about happiness and what makes you happy?
Happiness is watching the grow of everything you work and put effort on such as family, personality, and career; happiness is to work with something you love. What makes me happy is my kids, the process of creating beautiful spaces and my client’s happy faces with their final product.
