Today we’d like to introduce you to Marcellas Clay.
Hi Marcellas, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
My story started with a passion for creativity at a very young age. Growing up in a large family, I taught myself acting, singing, dancing, and even playing piano by ear. Those early experiences helped shape my love for storytelling and entertainment. Over the years, I continued developing my skills as an artist, songwriter, actor, filmmaker, and entrepreneur.
The journey wasn’t always easy, but I stayed focused, worked hard, believed in myself, and relied heavily on faith. Every challenge became a lesson that taught me humility, patience, perseverance, and courage.
In 2024, I founded The Clay Fam Enterprises Incorporated, a company built on creativity, integrity, family, and purpose. Through CFE, I’ve had the opportunity to create films, music, and entertainment projects that bring stories to life and inspire others. Some of the projects I’m most proud of include the The Angel That Found Empty Souls series, Tell Me Why, and I Remember The Day I Met You.
Today, I continue to grow as a writer, director, filmmaker, actor, recording artist, and CEO. My goal is not only to entertain but to create opportunities for others, leave a positive impact, and show people that with faith, hard work, and determination, anything is possible.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It definitely has not been a smooth road. Like many entrepreneurs and creatives, I’ve faced my share of obstacles along the way. Building a career in entertainment and business requires a lot of faith, patience, and perseverance. There were times when resources were limited, opportunities didn’t come as quickly as I hoped, and projects didn’t always go according to plan.
One of the biggest challenges was learning how to balance being a creator with being a business owner. As an artist, you want to focus on the creative side, but as an entrepreneur, you also have to handle leadership, operations, finances, and long-term planning. I’ve also had to overcome self-doubt at times and learn how to keep moving forward even when things were uncertain.
What has helped me most is staying committed to my vision, continuing to learn, and refusing to give up when things got difficult. Every setback taught me something valuable and helped prepare me for the next level. Looking back, those challenges shaped who I am today and made the successes even more meaningful.

I am a writer, director, filmmaker, actor, recording artist, and entrepreneur. Through The Clay Fam Enterprises, I create films, music, and entertainment projects that tell meaningful stories and connect with people on an emotional level. My work spans multiple areas of the entertainment industry, but storytelling has always been at the heart of everything I do.
I am known for creating original content that blends real-life experiences, faith, family values, and powerful human emotions. Whether I’m producing a film, writing a script, directing a scene, or creating music, my goal is to leave a lasting impact and give audiences something they can relate to and remember.

Beyond the projects themselves, I am proud of building The Clay Fam Enterprises from the ground up and creating opportunities for other talented creatives to showcase their gifts.
What sets me apart is my versatility and determination. I don’t limit myself to one role—I am involved in every aspect of bringing a vision to life. I also lead with authenticity, faith, and a genuine desire to inspire others. My focus isn’t just on creating entertainment; it’s on building a legacy, opening doors for others, and telling stories that matter.
Let’s talk about our city – what do you love? What do you not love?
What I like most about Fort Worth is the incredible growth and opportunity that’s happening here, especially within the film and entertainment industry. I truly believe Fort Worth is positioning itself to become a major destination for filmmakers, creators, and artists. There’s a unique blend of culture, community, and innovation that makes it an exciting place to build projects and bring creative visions to life. I often say that Fort Worth has the potential to be the next Hollywood, and it’s inspiring to see that momentum continue to grow.
As for what I like least, I prefer to look at it as an opportunity rather than a drawback. As the city continues to grow, I would love to see even more investment, resources, and infrastructure dedicated to the creative arts and film industry. The foundation is already here, and the future is incredibly bright. I think Fort Worth is on an amazing trajectory, and I’m excited to see how it continues to evolve as a hub for entertainment, business, and innovation.
