Rising Stars: Meet Natasha Spivey of Dallas-Fort Worth

Today we’d like to introduce you to Natasha Spivey.

Hi Natasha, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
Kingdom Spices was created from both my culinary background and a deeper desire to build something meaningful. I’ve spent years working in food service and catering, where I developed a strong understanding of flavor, food operations, and what people truly enjoy. Over time, I realized I wanted to take that experience and create something of my own—something that combined quality, creativity, and purpose.

What started as experimenting with blends and flavors grew into a business focused on handcrafted, small-batch seasonings designed to elevate everyday cooking. As I began sharing my products at local markets and events, I saw firsthand how people connected with the flavors and the brand. That connection helped shape the direction of Kingdom Spices into what it is today.

Beyond just spices, Kingdom Spices is built on a faith-inspired foundation and a commitment to excellence. It’s about creating products that bring people together, enhance meals, and create memorable experiences around food.

Today, I continue to grow the brand through farmers markets, community events, and online sales, while also building a larger vision for expansion into retail, partnerships, and broader distribution.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
The journey has been one of growth and continuous learning. Building Kingdom Spices has allowed me to develop new skills, strengthen my discipline, and gain a deeper understanding of both business and people.

Each step has helped refine the brand and its direction, especially through connecting with customers at markets and seeing how the products resonate. From a faith perspective, the process has been guided by purpose, patience, and consistency.

Overall, it has been a rewarding experience that continues to build a strong foundation for future growth and expansion.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
Kingdom Spices specializes in handcrafted, small-batch seasoning blends designed to elevate everyday cooking. The focus is on creating bold, well-balanced flavors that work across a variety of dishes, from meats and seafood to vegetables and plant-based meals.

The brand is known for its quality, consistency, and the experience it brings to customers—whether through the product itself or through direct engagement at markets and events. There is a strong emphasis on creating something that people can connect with, not just purchase.

What sets Kingdom Spices apart is its foundation. It is a faith-inspired brand built on purpose, intentionality, and a commitment to excellence. Every blend reflects a standard of quality and a desire to create value for others.

What I’m most proud of is building something from the ground up that resonates with people and continues to grow through community, connection, and consistency.
