Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I started making custom soy based candles back in February of 2021. During this journey I’ve learned and met a lot of people. Through trial and error I’ve learned how to be a customer service driven candle maker.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
For the most part starting your own business from scratch can be a struggle. With the help of my close family and friends the journey has been eye opening.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I am a custom candle maker.
I also make pre-made candles with a variety of colors and smells.
With my custom candles I follow the customers lead to bring their customized candle into fruition.
Do you have any advice for those just starting out?
My advice to anyone starting out in the candle making business is that, it’s a lot more brands out there so you have to make your candles unique.
