Rising Stars: Meet Vivian Le of Dallas-Fort Worth

Today we’d like to introduce you to Vivian Le.

Hi Vivian, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
For a few years, I worked as an ER nurse while creating lifestyle content on the side as a creative outlet. I’ve always loved storytelling through video, but I never imagined it would eventually become part of my career.

In 2025, I got engaged to the love of my life and started planning my own wedding. While searching for a wedding content creator, I remember thinking, “There’s no way I could do that.” I had stage fright and couldn’t imagine filming strangers during one of the biggest days of their lives.

A few months later, I attended one of my friend’s weddings and happened to vlog parts of the day for fun. I didn’t think much of the footage until about a month later when I randomly decided to edit a few clips into cinematic wedding reels. As I was editing, something just clicked. I realized how much I loved turning small moments into memories people could relive.

That same day, I built my wedding website and started reaching out to brides online, asking if they’d let me capture their weddings. It all happened so organically. What started as a spontaneous idea quickly turned into something I genuinely fell in love with.

Today, I’m still a full-time nurse during the week, and on the weekends you’ll find me filming weddings. I feel incredibly lucky that I get to live in both worlds. Nursing has taught me compassion, empathy, and how to stay calm during life’s biggest moments, while wedding content creation gives me a space to be creative and tell love stories. It’s such a privilege to preserve one of the happiest days of someone’s life, and I’m so grateful that what started as a random idea has become something I truly love doing.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Honestly, I feel like I’ve been really lucky. Of course there are little obstacles here and there—I’m balancing being a full-time nurse, planning my own wedding, and filming weddings on the weekends, so life definitely stays busy! There are late nights editing, learning as I go, and figuring out the business side of things, but I actually enjoy all of it. It’s something I genuinely look forward to.

I think working as an ER nurse has given me a different perspective. When you’re used to taking care of patients during some of the hardest moments of their lives, it’s hard for me to see wedding content creation as “stressful.” Instead, I get to spend my weekends surrounded by so much love, happiness, and excitement. I honestly leave every wedding feeling so full.

I’m still so new to this journey, and I know I’ll keep learning along the way. But every challenge just feels like another chance to grow. I truly love what I do, and I feel so grateful that I get to be creative while also continuing to work as a nurse. It really feels like the best of both worlds.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I’m a wedding content creator based in DFW, and I capture weddings through a candid, behind-the-scenes lens. My goal is to help couples relive all the little moments they might miss on such a busy day—the happy tears, the hugs, the laughter, and everything in between. I love creating content that feels authentic and emotional, while also giving couples fun, shareable videos they can enjoy almost immediately after their wedding.

I especially love documenting Vietnamese weddings and tea ceremonies because they’re so rich in culture and tradition. As someone planning my own Vietnamese wedding, I know firsthand how meaningful those moments are, and it’s such an honor to preserve them for other couples.

What I’m probably most proud of is that I built this business simply because I fell in love with it. It wasn’t something I had planned for years—it started from a random idea while editing clips from a friend’s wedding, and now I get to spend my weekends doing something that genuinely makes me happy. I honestly never, ever thought I could make a career out of something I genuinely love doing. I didn’t think that was real. Growing up, I always thought work was just…work. The idea that I could wake up excited to create, meet incredible couples, and call this my job still feels surreal sometimes, and I don’t take it for granted.

I think what sets me apart is the heart I bring to every wedding. I’m still a full-time nurse, so caring for people has always been at the center of who I am. That naturally carries over into how I work with couples. I’m calm, attentive, and always looking for ways to make their day a little easier. At the same time, I’m probably just as excited as they are! I truly love celebrating with my couples, and by the end of the day, it feels like I’ve been cheering on two friends. There’s nothing more rewarding than handing them memories they can relive forever.

Any big plans?
Right now, I’m honestly just excited to keep growing. Since I’m also planning my own wedding, a lot of my free time has been going into that (which has been so much fun!). After the wedding, I’m looking forward to pouring even more into my business—continuing to learn, becoming a better storyteller, and finding new ways to connect with couples.

One thing that’s definitely on my dream list is traveling for weddings. The idea of capturing love stories in different cities or even different states sounds so exciting to me. I would absolutely love that.

More than anything, I just hope to keep doing work that I’m genuinely passionate about. If I can continue meeting amazing couples, telling their stories, and growing little by little each year, I’d be incredibly happy.
