Today we’d like to introduce you to Chasing Texas Band Kenny McClure.
Chasing Texas Band, please kick things off for us by telling us about yourself and your journey so far.
We came together as Chasing Texas in August of 2014 but individually we have been playing the Texas Music Scene for many years. We love to entertain and we love audiences of all ages and always our main goal is that people have fun and enjoy themselves at our shows.
We like each other, many bands argue and fight over silly things but we don’t have that problem, we truly enjoy each other’s company and making music together, I think that is a key part to our success.
Can you give our readers some background on your art?
Our music is mainly Country and Blues or “Clues” as we like to call it. It’s very important to us that we keep our music and shows family friendly and positive. We want people to enjoy themselves and forget about the stresses of life when they come out to our shows even if it’s only for a few hours.
In your view, what is the biggest issue artists have to deal with?
Competition…. there are many bands in the DFW area and some are very good. We work hard to be one of the best bands around not only performance wise but also in the way we treat our customers.
