Today we’d like to introduce you to JaeWay Presents.
JaeWay, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
I moved to Dallas in 2012, from my hometown Youngstown, Ohio for better endeavors after graduation from college. Along the way, I met some great people through basketball and began to get out and experience Dallas nightlife. After experiencing Dallas and the different events that were offered in the LGBT community and non-LGBT community, I begin to gain a greater passion in what events I could offer to the people in all communities.
My focus specifically was to create a quality environment in which people could be their authentic self, spread love, celebrate, educate, gain longevity relationships, network, and create. At that point, I decided to challenge myself and start creating that quality environment for people with private parties.
After a couple of private parties, I was inspired to expand my private parties and create a space for an even bigger crowd in which I then decided to create my brand/business and become a promoter. With each event that I provide for the people, I embrace all feedback and I continuously challenge myself to learn something different from each event in which ultimately allowed to gain the success and be where I am today.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
It has not always been a smooth road; however, I embraced each challenge and didn’t allow it to break me. As much as I love people, it can be a challenge at times to work with people (owners of venues specifically). But its beauty in challenges! The only way one can be successful is to take the experience from the bumpy roads and learn the lesson, so it doesn’t repeat.
Alright – so let’s talk business. Tell us about JaeWay Presents – what should we know?
JaeWay Presents specialize in creating dynamic events for the culture. My business is more than just nightlife experiences it embodies all elements for people to enjoy and express themselves freely and without judgment. I have been a part of many versatile crowds; Afro-pop, LGBTQ, and non-LGBTQ communities just to name a few versatile crowds I have created dynamic events for.
I am most proud of the quality environment that I create that keeps the people coming back and interested in what my next event will consist of. Most importantly JaeWay Presents is continuing to expand and inspire people from surrounding areas to be a part of a solid community while having fun and spreading all love.
JaeWay Presents is set apart from others by not staying stagnant, not being content with previous success. Being sociable with the people that support me is very important to me.
I love the challenge and appreciate the experiences its imperative for the growth not only of my business but my personal growth as well.
Friday nights at King Tut Hookah Lounge #1 After Hour Party, Finally Friday at Blends Hookah Lounge, Lez Do Saturdaaze: Day Party, SIP N SKATE: Adult Party, Comedy Show ft Kia Comedy and Sexy Sundaaze at Sino House just to name a few events that I’ve conducted.
