Today we’d like to introduce you to Tory Sound.
Tory Sound is an alternative rock band that has set their roots in Dallas, Texas. Currently, they are signed with Lamon Records/Sony Entertainment Nashville and released an EP with them in September of 2018. The band includes Justin Labosco, Michael Perez, Josh Koder, Todd Griffith and Jason Korman. Several musicians have come and gone from Tory Sound, but once they established this group of incredibly talented musicians they immediately were offered several contracts through different labels and selected Lamon Records to represent them for their newest EP “Need To Know.”
Like all bands, Tory Sound had their ups and downs. After turmoil with the original lead signer Justin Labosco, the original producer of Tory Sounds first EP, stepped up and took control of the lead vocals. Once establishing their alt-rock sound, they produced music that can relate to all audiences. While most bands distinguish each member by instrument played, Tory Sound’s members can play any and all of the instruments that you see on stage or hear on recordings. Piano, bass, electric and acoustic guitars, drums, percussion… the deeply trained and highly inspired members can do it all. Don’t be surprised if you see someone switch instruments mid-song while attending one of their many live performances!
“For us, life is best lived as an adventure.” This is not as surprising as you hear Tory Sound’s music. Audiences can connect with their music in a variety of meaningful ways. Whether spiritually, emotionally, or creatively, it’s not hard to relate to their songs and witness the passion that drives their work.
“Need to Know” released to radio in late August 2018 and became available everywhere great music is sold, including iTunes and Amazon on September 14th, 2018. Tory Sound is constantly writing and creating new songs to release on a regular basis. Look for their newest single to release early Spring 2019.
Tory Sound has worked hard to master their craft, and it is still always evolving. They are here to inspire the old and new with respects for all that they do. Tory Sound continues to make incredible music that will touch the hearts of all of their fans, friends, and family. The band has spent many years individually mastering their craft of music and look to continue to share it with the world.
What do you think is the biggest challenge facing artists today?
The biggest challenge in the industry is finding quality musicians that are willing to work together and grow. Musicians are blessed with their talent and unique souls. They need to be able to take a chance and master their craft.
