Today we’d like to introduce you to Lilly Bazadoni.
Lilly, please kick things off for us by telling us about yourself and your journey so far.
My name is Iliana Bazadoni, but I’ve gone by “Lilly” for as long as I can remember. I’ve had a strong passion for photography for about two years now. I started out practicing on my friends because I never thought I was good enough to actually make a small business out of my passion. After month of encouraging words from family and friends, I started my photography page/business @PICSOFLILS! I could confidently say that making this photography page was one of the best decisions of my life. It has blessed and changed my life in many different ways.
Can you give our readers some background on your art?
The definition of Art differentiates for everyone. To me, it simply means what you create! As a photographer, I love to create clean/sharp images that radiate beauty and good energy. It is important to me that my art radiates these two elements because I want my work to inspire anyone who comes across my work. At the end of the day, I hope my followers feel inspired when they look at my post to go after their dreams. I also hope they take from my art that you don’t need to have it all to do what you love. I love to remind my followers that you don’t need a big studio with big lights, the newest and most expensive camera, or to have thousands of followers to make art. Create art with the resources that you have, and as long as you’re proud of it, that’s all that matters.
Any advice for aspiring or new artists?
There’s only one piece of advice that I wish someone would’ve told me about when I started, and that is not to care what others have to say about you/your work. It is good to take constructive criticisms that will help you, but if someone has something negative to say about what you’re doing simply disregard what they have to say. People will always have something to say! Continue to do what you love and don’t stop reaching for your dreams.
