Hi Aniecia, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I started my business, Alluring Body Fitness, off of a leap of faith! Being a full-time college student at Texas A&M University-Commerce majoring in Technology Management and running a business can be very challenging at times. But, I was inspired by several different entrepreneurs on Instagram. I always had a passion for fitness and taking care of the body. So, I knew one day I was going to own a business based on fitness and embracing your outer beauty despite the size. Realizing that we were in a pandemic and many people had more time to focus in on their inner self and who doesn’t want to feel good and look good!? I then decided to go into research finding the best quality and affordable way to brand Alluring Body Fitness especially being a new business owner and not to familiar with the entrepreneur lifestyle. Once I established my base, I then knew it was only going to go up from there! I branched off and met many fitness influencers that help make my brand become what it is today. I knew that I had a vision to see my brand on several different body types embracing their true beauty.
I am still establishing my business till this day, learning the ends and outs of entrepreneurship. Especially while budgeting because when it comes to a business, you have to prepare for the worst and pray for the BEST! It can not always be about the profit, its about the ending impact of seeing a woman truly embrace there true self Rocking Alluring Body Fitness. That’s what makes me strive to keep GOING and conduct many different pop up shops across the DFW Area. To get in contact with women, and show them you can EMBRACE it all! It was hard starting a business in a pandemic, but I knew it was meant for me because the joy it brings seeing a woman putting on an AlluringB Waist Trainer or even an Alluring Body Fitness Set at all of the pop-up shops I have conducted thus far. Lets me know that I am impacting another woman to love herself just a little more and knowing SELF LOVE IS THE BEST LOVE!
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Being an entrepreneur is very challenging! Especially when you are coming from the standpoint of not being as active on social media before the business. It’s like making a new account, searching for individuals to see your vision. I am still in the process of branding myself in several different aspects. My following is not nearly where I would like it to be, but I focus more on progress rather than the key result. I had to realize in order to expand my business, I have to be confident in what I love, and that was taking care of the body. So, I expressed my journey and remained consistent. Consistency allowed me to gain 500 followers within a three-month time span. Some followed just because of my energy and some followed because of the interest they had in expressing your outer beauty. It’s a major struggle when you are showing individuals your weight loss journey while you are building your confidence to post content but you never know who you might have inspired or helped. So, I embraced every time I could because I made Alluring Body Fitness to embrace your outer beauty. At that point, I knew I had to walk in my vision I had set and don’t let doubt stand in the way.

1. The KEY aspect I have learned thus far while being an entrepreneur is consistency. Once, you start you should be committed to making your brand better each day! Until you have obtained your absolute goal consistently. 2. NEVER step into entrepreneurship with profit only on your mind because it will come to points. That you are putting more in than you are getting out, but that’s when you rely on your faith and in your passion that you have in what you are selling. 3. Take time to RESEARCH before you step out, and just post pictures because if you have a big vision for your brand. You have to take the necessary steps it takes to build a successful brand and sometimes that comes with some Losses and some Wins. 4. Remain CONFIDENT! 5. CLAP throughout your progress, rather Big or Small, because it will allow you to keep pushing to obtain more and your ultimate goal. 6. POP UP SHOPS many people like supply and demand, ready to go! Most people are not fond with waiting, so make sure you are conducting as many as you possibly can. That’s where I obtained most of my profit and new future purchases. Ending result, NEVER GIVE UP there is always someone watching and everything doesn’t happen overnight. I have put business cards in mailboxes, sold outside of my trunk, but it showed my commitment and dedication I had for my BRAND. Which led me to several different out of state orders. You have to BELIEVE in you!
