Owner & Founder Kady Cannon Krambeer is a reality TV personality, public figure, and influencer. After appearing as a main cast member on Season 1 of USA Network’s hit reality TV series, Temptation Island, Kady knew she wanted to use her platform to make a difference. With her BBA in Marketing from Tarleton State University, she has been doing marketing in the corporate world for the past ten years and has practiced her entrepreneurial skill sets as a freelancer on the side for 6+ years. Her marketing career started in financial wealth management and commercial real estate and has since had experience in a wide variety of industries ranging from the beauty industry to software to construction and everything in between. She has extensive experience in brand and product launches. ⠀
After her public platform launched by her appearance as a main cast member on USA Network’s hit reality TV show, Temptation Island, she moved to uptown Dallas and quickly surrounded herself with like-minded, driven entrepreneurs and business owners developing a support system to set out on her own business venture doing what she loves (and what she’s good at). Not only is she the face of Kannon Marketing Agency, but she also is the driving force that organizes, manages, and executes the go-to marketing strategy and intricately maps out the marketing plan for each of our client’s specific needs and unique objectives.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It hasn’t been easy to say the least. When I first launched this company, although I was scared, I also had somewhat of a naivety that gave me the comfort to make the leap. Through networking and the notoriety from the show, I was quickly connecting with heavy hitters in DFW that were some of the first prospects to come down the pipeline. With a positive outlook and a slightly inflated ego, I thought getting clients would be easy! A few months into this new business venture I realized just how tough entrepreneurship really is.
Along with many hard lessons learned along the way, I know now that just because there is a verbal agreement, nothing is guaranteed. I now know that entrepreneurship is filled with sleepless nights, sacrifices beyond measure, birthday parties missed, tireless hours working, stress, and lots of trial and error. I remember countless times crying on my dining room floor, which also served as my office at the time, losing faith in myself and contemplating on giving up. But through it all, I learned that most entrepreneurs experience this too and that I wasn’t alone. Attending women entrepreneurship workshops and conferences shed a new perceptive on things, really giving me the motivation and the resources to keep going. My determination and drive are what kept Kannon Marketing afloat and have gotten us to where we are today.

In the realm of luck, I’d say the luckiest thing that has ever happened to me was getting cast on Temptation Island. Unlike hundreds of thousands across the world, I had never even applied to be a reality show. It wasn’t on my radar of possibilities. One day, randomly, I got an email from a casting director and the rest was history. Some may say that going on that show was a blessing and a curse, but ultimately it gave me clarity and catapulted my life in a different direction that has led me to expand my horizons and dream bigger. Much bigger.
