Life and Work with Brandon and Christina Brock

Today we’d like to introduce you to Brandon and Christina Brock.

Thanks for sharing your story with us Brandon and Christina. So, let’s start at the beginning, and we can move on from there.
The idea for Be Ripped Fits was started out of a desire to wear apparel that motivates and inspires all to conquer the day while bridging fitness and fashion. We chose the name, “Be Ripped” because it is a call to action to go all in. There’s something about walking into the gym or any other place in new gear that motivates you. You will walk a little bit taller, push a little bit harder, and smile a little bit brighter. When you couple that with our call to action brand name, you can’t help but strive for your best.

We have been very fortunate and blessed to have the support of family and friends to get us where we are today. In addition to our online and vendor booth sales, we are grateful for being able to have our clothes sold in 3 LA Fitness locations here in the Dallas/Ft. Worth metroplex.

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc. – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
The road has not always been smooth and to be honest, it still isn’t to this day. We have had some really late nights and some really early mornings. We’ve also had some trial and error too. We first started out doing t-shirts with phrases on them. When we did that, we didn’t receive much traction at all. Lol. Then one day, we had an “aha” moment. We realized that instead of trying to create t-shirts with catchphrases, we needed to be promoting our brand name which we selected to inspire others! So we went back to the drawing board and started to revamp our brand to actually embody our name and focus on quality athleisure wear. That has proven to work well and has resonated with others, as it has afforded us the opportunity to retail our clothing inside of shops located in 3 LA Fitness locations in the DFW metroplex.

So while it’s not always desirable to have bumps in the road, we’ve come to appreciate those bumps because they seem to steer us back onto the path that we’re supposed to be on.

So, as you know, we’re impressed with Be Ripped Fits – tell our readers more, for example, what you’re most proud of as a company and what sets you apart from others.
We are most proud of the response we receive from customers that purchase our products. There’s no greater feeling than seeing a customer post a picture on Instagram, Facebook, or any other social media outlet, expressing their satisfaction with our products. Direct customer feedback from real people who feel inspired by our apparel is the ultimate measure of success for us. We know that without customers, we have no business.

What sets us apart from others is our attention to the quality of our product offerings, which extends beyond the garment itself. We include quality in everything from the hang tags that we place on all of our garments to the shopping bags that we use for pop-up shop purchases. We recognize that these items also impact our customer experience, as such, the same level of quality that we input into our garments has to translate to these items as well. Of course, we always strive to provide top-notch quality service too.

What advice would you give to someone at the start of her career?
Write down your goals and make them plain. This is something that the Bible speaks of, and we are firm believers of this, as we have witnessed the manifestation of our goals first-hand through this.

When starting your career or anything in life, you may not always know how you will get to a certain place that you desire to be in. However, all you need to do is write down where you want to be and leave the “how” up to God.
