Life and Work with Gina Michelotti and Candi Klemenc

Today we’d like to introduce you to Gina Michelotti and Candi Klemenc.

Gina and Candi, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
Candi & I met in our previous job. We work extremely well together, like a balancing act! We realized we are dreamers & dreamed bigger dreams so we acted on it! We both have creative minds – Candi, she sees the big picture while I focus on the small details which really works quite well in Event Planning. Since we started this adventure a little over a year ago, we hit the ground running & have no intention of slowing down.

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc. – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
There have been times where the road is smooth but it doesn’t last long 😉 Being an entrepreneur, you have to work at it every day, kind of like a sport – continue practicing what you’re good at, the skills you’re not so good at, what & where you can improve. Nothing comes easy unless you believe in yourself, your business & continue to move forward every day. You might pitch a 100 people & 1 person says yes, that’s a win in our book!

We are Event Planners + Designers.

We specialize in many areas of from hiring staff + vendors + entertainment to most importantly creating the ambiance, the vision of our clients & executing seamless events.

We are known to be easy as pie to work with, to help create extraordinary visions, to let our clients sit back & socialize with guests! Because that’s the whole point, right?!

We are most proud that we jumped into this together & conquering any challenges that arise.

We’d say what sets us apart, is we are a dynamic duo that plays off of each other’s strengths & creative ideas to exceed our client’s expectations & make them the rock star!

Who have you been inspired by?
Gina: I would say definitely my mom & sister Mandy. My mom, I couldn’t imagine raising four kids & be in nursing school. She must have studied when were all asleep! My sister because she is one of the strongest humans I know – she knows why. 😉 Nothing seems impossible with these women.

Candi: I could never say just one woman inspires me because ALL women have inspired me. I have been lucky to be surrounded by women who are mothers, entrepreneurs, artists, nurses, you name it! Women really do run the world, especially now more than ever. It’s really beautiful to see so many strong women chasing after their hopes and dreams and making them a reality. Which is exactly what us ladies of social214 are doing!
