Ahmad, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
Hey everyone, I purchased my first camera June 6th of 2016 with the intent of becoming a fashion model. I didn’t know anything about my camera, didn’t know how to use it properly, all I thought it was, “Clicking a button.” Little did I know, it wasn’t that easy. I gave up a little because I couldn’t understand how to take the pictures properly. I ended up putting my camera away. It’s like I had the eye for pictures I just didn’t understand settings. Months later, I found out I was having a child so I became hungry, I was working a decent job as a bartender but I knew that wasn’t enough, so I decided to pick up my camera again. I started to learn and teach myself photography, I even had mentors: Jamaal & Renell Bell. I then branched out and began to work with “Infinite Kreationz” where I am taught by the best photographers, & videographers in the city. I learned lighting, advanced editing, poses, etc… I then developed my own style and creativity, now I’m one the hottest photographer in Dallas. All it took was consistency every day, “Success comes when you’re consistent.” – Austin Heights. My work ethic is what really puts me in my own lane. Stay tuned, I have a ton a work to do and drop!
Has it been a smooth road?
When you have to work for yourself, it’s a very bumpy road. You have to come up with ways to catch peoples attention within your creativity. Photography is now something I do for a living, so I get paid off of clients wanting to book with me, that’s an obstacle itself. I love it though it helps me become even more creative.

My company Infinite Kreationz is a collective group of photographers & videographers. It’s a total of seven of us. Elijah, Bakari, & Tony are the Owners. Tremaine, Wesley, Steve, & myself are right up under them. We all play a big role at IK Studios. I’m a photographer there that’s my expertise. I’m known for my crazy effects that I place on my images; “I may have a client jumping in the air and have them explode or I may place a title on the picture of the person, I normally put their name. I’m proud of the teamwork we have at IK, we literally push each other to our best abilities, and we get better and better each and every day. That’s what sets us apart.
Let’s touch on your thoughts about our city – what do you like the most and least?
What I love best about Dallas, I feel like we’re underdogs, and I love being an underdog it makes you hungry for greatness. What I like least are the people that are not doing the craft for the love they’re doing it just because.
