Today we’d like to introduce you to Alysia Helm.
Alysia, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
I am from a small town, Meridian, MS. From a little girl, I have always wanted to be a business owner. I have been in the finance industry for the past eight years starting as a teller all the way to most recently broker services. I moved to Dallas in 2017 and continued my tenure in finance. It was last year I was sitting at my desk at my wall street job and decided that if I could work this hard for Charles Schwab and push their products, then certainly, I could do the same independently. Starting that day, I began research into the beauty industry, specifically body contouring and received the required training and within one month of completion, Utopia Body Studio was founded.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
It has not always been a smooth road. Starting from 0 clients the day we opened the doors July 16th, 2018 to over the last year now having served close to 400 clients were tough; also there are extremely profitable days and there are times in which days could go by with no new clients. Staying organized with scheduling, documents, expenses, emails and etc. is also a struggle that I have had to learn to juggle.
Please tell us about Utopia Body Studio.
Utopia Body Studio is your journey to becoming SNATCHED! And an absolutely beautiful place to relax and unwind while doing it. What sets us apart from the rest is the girlfriend experience from the time you make initial contact with our office throughout your time spent in the office with us.
If you had to go back in time and start over, would you have done anything differently?
If I had to start over, I would market and configure my google SEO six months to a year in advance. This would jump-start my google ranking, which will ultimately make it easier for consumers to locate your services.
