Meet Alyssa Thomas of Serve Cosmetics in North Dallas

Today we’d like to introduce you to Alyssa Thomas.

Alyssa, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
Serve cosmetics started a march of 2019 with a God-given vision to merge my two passions the kingdom of God and makeup! As a licensed cosmetologist and makeup artist, I’ve always used my platform to inspire and encourage women to not only look good on the outside but inside as well. I started with just a few colors of liquid lipstick and a Facebook page to now having liquid lipstick glosses, an eyeshadow pallet and mink lashes, social media pages, and a website we officially launched as an LLC on June 12 of 2020. We are currently are being sold and showcased in the Ck creative studio in Dallas, TX.

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
It hasn’t been smooth but worth it. I learn something new almost every day In business as well as myself.

Serve Cosmetics – what should we know? What do you guys do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
My business is known for encouraging and inspiring women of all walks of life I’m proud to stand by a business that reflects me, my morals, standards and integrity. There is something for everyone, whether you need encouragement or a new lipgloss, I believe that sets serve cosmetics apart.

What is “success” or “successful” for you?
Success in my own definition, is pursuing and living out your passion in whatever capacity that is. My standard of success is when I decided I was gonna go after a dream that sat in my heart for ten years and at that moment, I set the standard. I will leave an inheritance for my children and so on.
