Ashlee and Chelsi, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
My sister in law and I have always dreamed of owning a business together. We had no clue what the business would be but knew we love going over the top celebrating the people we love. We find joy in the details of setting up a celebration.
One day, I was looking for a yard sign for my son’s flag football debut and couldn’t find one that matched my vision. That’s the day Life of the Yardy was born. We saw an opportunity in the market to create a unique range of celebration signs.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
As a new business, we have endured hiccups in the printing process and finalizing our materials so that they are cohesive with our brand. This took time, patience, practice and investment to get it right so that we can offer high quality and durable signs consistent with our brand!
Life of the Yardy – what should we know? What do you guys do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
Life of the Yardy is known for providing unique, high-quality celebration signs. Weset out to stand apart from other competitors by having unique signs, high-quality material, and by truly running our company as a business. We aim to provide ease in our customer service experience and gain customers for life.
What is “success” or “successful” for you?
Our proudest moment has come in seeing the faces of our customers when they see their signs! It brings us so much joy to see the excitement that comes with the celebration.
