Ayat, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
I was always into the beauty industry ever since I was young. Friends and family always ask me for beauty recommendations and encouraged me to start a page. So I decided to start a blog on Instagram showing my different interests such as skin care, makeup, medicine, food, and fashion. I am currently working towards becoming a Physician Assistant in dermatology.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
There are a lot of beauty pages out there, and I have to think of ways to be different and stand out. Starting PA school is time consuming, and I am not always consistent with posting. It takes time to grow too. I am considering starting a YouTube channel.
Please tell us about your work.
I like to try different things and give my true thoughts. One way to get a little feel of my adventures is through watching my instagram highlights. My work is also a way for me to look back at the memories I have made. Fun fact: I became a meme that went viral.
Is there a characteristic or quality that you feel is essential to success?
If you are not ambitious, it will be hard to go far. Whatever you do in life, do it with love and passion. Stay true to yourself and just be honest with your work.
