Meet Bebe Tran of B-Lashed Beauty and Bridal Bar in North Dallas

Today we’d like to introduce you to Bebe Tran.

Bebe, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
I am a professional makeup artist and hairstylist based in Dallas, Texas. I migrated to the United States at the tender age of eight, with my parents and four siblings. I had to learn from a very young age how to become self-sufficient and responsible as a primary provider for my family. I attended a 4-year university and obtained a Bachelors of Arts in Fashion Design and Merchandising. Following my true passion towards the cosmetic industry, I pursued an education in cosmetology with Toni & Guy shortly after graduation. I did not stop there, I continued to search for the best teachers all around the world with new techniques and services to provide to my clients. Below are some of my certifications:

My goal is to provide my clients with the satisfaction that I use the best quality products, innovative techniques and fresh vision to achieve effortless and natural beauty through makeup and hair styling.

My seamless work and vision for beauty has quickly helped me develop a loyal clientele that includes many successful and high-profile people around the world. I was named as one of Dallas top makeup artist in 2015. My company was voted the winner of 2016 for Dallas A-list for “Best Wedding Hair and Make-up.” We are the winner of “The Knot Best of Weddings” in 2017. With support from my family, friends and loyal clients, I am now working on my very first storefront in Dallas, Texas. “BLashed Beauty and Bridal Bar” will be ready to service clients in North Texas and visitors of Dallas this Summer.

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc. – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
The journey has been bittersweet with many accomplishments as well as challenges. Being a startup and young entrepreneur is not an easy task. Not having a mentor has made it that much more difficult, as I have had to learn all about business on my own. Youth seems to be a setback in business. Investors are afraid to invest in me but that did not slow me down; moreover, it motivated me to do more and work harder to become successful. I am definitely thankful for my supportive husband, family, friends and clients who believed in me and continue to be supportive of my business venture.

B.madebyBebe started out as a bridal and events hair and make-up company a little over 3 years ago. With the love and support of our clients we were able to expand our services. Below are the services that we specialize in:

Besides opening our new storefront this Summer, one of the proudest moment of our company was having our work displayed all over American Airlines Aircraft all over the world.

What sets us apart from other beauty salons is our passion and quality of products and services. We take pride in our work and will make sure every client walks out happy.

So, what’s next? Any big plans?
My plans for the future for our storefront is to bring in our own make-up and skincare line. I also plan to open many more businesses gearing towards beauty services for the bridal industry. I plan to be a successful entrepreneur and a loving mother. I also plan to teach and pass down what I know to artists that are interested.
