Meet Brandie Pyburn-Smith of Sisterhood Through God’s Plan in Fort Worth

Today we’d like to introduce you to Brandie Pyburn-Smith.

Thanks for sharing your story with us Brandie. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
A vision God gave me in a dream. I saw STGP but didn’t know what it meant. After two years, God revealed it to me at church my pastor said ” God’s Plan and I immediately thought Sisterhood Through God’s Plan. I started the group on Facebook with 54 women over an eight-month period we increased to 497 women and are currently still growing. In November 2019, God leads my heart to Incorporate us as a Non-Profit Christian Organization.

Although we have yet to fully get off the ground, we empower and motivate one another daily. We share inspiration post, we have a podcast on podbean with daily devotional. We also host REAL TALK on Fridays LIVE in the group. These ladies motivated me to write a book about my struggle with depression and it was just recently published ” The Mess That Gifted The Messenger.” I’ve had the pleasure to travel and speak at events. God’s definitely opening doors that no man can shut.

Has it been a smooth road?
Absolutely not at all! I’ve lost family members, friends and I even faced difficulty in my marriage. I had sickness went through four emergency surgeries and three of them I almost didn’t make it. This journey has been very bumpy and nausea at times.

We’d love to hear more about your work.
I actually have three businesses 1. B.O.S.S. Marketing which means Bringing Only Successful Strategies. 2. International Motivational Speaker I travel spreading the gospel and empowering as many women as I can. 3rd is B.O.S.S. Marketing and Publishing Company I want to help inspired Authors publish their stories.

I am most proud of the endurance and being able to accomplish so many goals. I am set apart because God has positioned me to follow him and only him. I am a gatekeeper for God and everything is lining up according to his plan.

Let’s touch on your thoughts about our city – what do you like the most and least?
I’m originally from Dallas I love the uniqueness and the fact that Dallas is so big. Fort Worth is small and not really a lot to do unless your party. I don’t really get out much anymore because I am so busy working and dealing with school or church. I do know that DFW has grown tremendously but I’m of the world not typically in it per say. I pretty much have a strict daily routine.
