Today we’d like to introduce you to Chrishuara (Chrissy V) Haynie.
Chrissy is a personality, actress, model, artist, writer, publicist, born & raised from Oak Cliff, Texas. Chrissy begins acting at the age of three when she was in local Texas commercials, department store brochures, school & church plays. She was fond of the entertainment industry and began pursuing it while in school. In middle school she worked for the school media department as a school news anchor, she then started working for the media department through out her high school years, to learn and understand the background on what passion burned in her. While attending Langston University & Oklahoma Sate University, Chrissy ventured into theater, radio, journalism, always leading her right back to Dallas, to help others succeed in their aspirations. She was the host for Talent Beyond Belief, On-air Personality for KALU in Langston University, Drama major at Oklahoma State University. Currently, Chrissy Is working as a PR, a Street A&R for those who need a little push in the industry, & pursuing her acting career.
After getting married Chrissy slowed down on her passion, but after a bad divorce which involved Domestic Violence, Chrissy took her platform to another level. She created a nonprofit called “Speak Up Speak out Against Domestic Violence,” she got a job for City Of Dallas City Manager to understand the political side & push the need for help to bring awareness to this issue as well as many other issues. In 2019, Chrissy Founded an all women organization called Da Crew Dallas, which means Captivating Radiant Educated Women in Dallas. This nonprofit organization is so women can grow amongst each other, network, build positive lasting relationships, and build their community up.
Ultimately Chrissy goal is to build Dallas Music & Entertainment Culture into a positive & growing one while continuing to help the youth.
Chrissy say’s “A lot of us feel like we can’t make it in Dallas because we don’t know how to make it! ” I’m here to teach the business and give support!”

Has it been a smooth road?
It has definitely not been a smooth road, I was a single mom, took my daughter to college with me, I’ve been homeless, no food, trying to survive all while in college, pursuing my dreams and I’m nowhere near where I want to be but I’m definitely not where I was.
If its smooth I wouldn’t appreciate it, so I’m grateful for the trials and tribulations I go through, it makes me into the women I am today.
I have a daughter I raised who is in college becoming a doctor, so everything I did and do is to make sure she doesn’t have the struggles I had.
Its not easy being a female rapper, so I never want anyone to portray me as that rapping is a gift. I ghost write for a lot of people male & females, hip hop, r&b, pop, country etc. so that really where my focus has been.
I have also had to honor to work with Mista E, (Big Chief Producer, Triple d Movie) Producer on becoming a banging ass female producer, this is still in the works so stay tuned. I am just honored solid & real individuals respect my mind & my hustle. My looks are just the Cherry on top. I’m Like a Rottweiler in heels.
There are a lot of Hidden Gems In our city & I want to help bring the light on them, so we shine baby, SHINE!!!

I am also proud of Da Crew Dallas for their accomplishments on feeding the Homeless and service to the community.
What sets me apart is, that I grew up here I know everyone, I’m actually out in the streets grinding, I’m out here protesting, I’m taking trips making moves for their people, I REALLY CARE.

How do you think the industry will change over the next decade?
I definitely see me moving to Houston or Atlanta for work purposes Dallas Is always Home, but I have to expand to make certain situations elevate to the fullest.

We will have numerous business ventures established as they already are here in Dallas.

Da Crew Dallas expanding to other cities and using our mission, to make sure the youth, young girls and the community is empowered, encourage, and equip to obtain a college degree, develop life skills, stop violence, create avenues that are not there for the low income.

At the moment, I am releasing a few mixtapes soon, The EP is called Lip-gloss & Glocks, I’m definitely doing a lot of writing for well known artist now, so hopefully ill get a Grammy soon, & I’m just staying active and connected. I love hosting & keeping a spot hot, so you will see me in Dallas, Houston, Atlanta getting the crowd lit.
