Debbie, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
Went to Florida State on a golf scholarship, worked for Dept. of Defense. Retired after 30 years’ service. Started in 2003 working for my aunt, who is the Broker of Home Solutions Realty, using all of the marketing skills I had learned in my Dept. of Defense capacity, I helped build Our REO Business to one of the Top 250 offices in America.
I became recognized by the major networks for my knowledge of listing and selling properties.
Although there are not many foreclosures in Texas here in 2017. I put all of those great marketing skills of selling home sellers homes.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
Marketing is changing so much every year…that you are always trying to learn the best way to attract new customers.
Continued education is always a part of any one that wants to be the very best for their clients.
Time is always a challenge but focusing on the most important objective everyday has saved my life, try to set up a specific time each week to daydream and think of new ideas, this is really fun for me and I have to be careful, that I don’t stray off when trying to accomplish a task

I am well known with my peers, for working with many celebrity real estate investors, like Lawyers & Professional Golfers.
I have access to homes that are bank owned, that my investors can purchase for cash if you are interested in buying investment properties.
My latest Book is “Secrets Every Home Seller Needs to Know.”
Last year I closed 108 transactions with a total sales volume of 37 million. The average sales price was 347,000, 30% buyers, 70% Sellers.
I operate with a team of specialists, marketing, foreclosure managers, client care specialists, for both buyers and sellers.
Home Solutions Realty is one of the Top 250 REO Offices Nationwide. I am also a Toyota Relocation preferred agent, a Dave Ramsey endorsed local provider a Contributing Editor to major networks and a returning guest on Real Estate Internet Radio.
I accomplish many tasks everyday because I LOVE MY JOB, I have a great family, great staff. My friends & family will tell you that after meeting you, I would come to your rescue day or night if needed.
If you had to go back in time and start over, would you have done anything differently?
I would have hired the in-house agents sooner and had each of them to become a specialist in their area sooner, having all the agents do all things…Does Not Work.
