Meet Gina Grant of Women That Soar

Today we’d like to introduce you to Gina Grant.

Gina, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
I am a former publicist who worked in the sports and entertainment industry. I became burned out with the day to day grind of being a fixer for my clients.

WTS was birth out of a need to share my true authentic story of overcoming personal and professional obstacles.

In building the company and brand, I knew there was a need to bring a diverse group of women together from different racial and socioeconomic backgrounds together; to share our stories and celebrate one another for our accomplishments.

Thus, the WTS Awards. The show is a televised Awards show that is more than another awards show. It is a movement; a celebration of women.

The WTS brand is a media company that produces content and live events that empowers and inspires women to Soar.

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
It has not been a smooth ride. Anyone who has launched a company knows there are good and bad days.

The biggest struggle was raising capital It was and us the one thing I don’t like.

Then there are the growing pains. You have to be well staffed with a team of loyal and passionate individuals. I am blessed to have that team.

I always say, “The journey isn’t easy, but it is rewarding.”

So, as you know, we’re impressed with Women That Soar, LLC – tell our readers more, for example, what you’re most proud of as a company and what sets you apart from others.
WTS is a for-profit media and content development company. We specialize in producing empowering and inspiring content and live events for women.

We are known for our televised Women That Soar, Awards show. It airs in over 50 markets.

So, what’s next? Any big plans?
Our plans is to become the premier media company for all things women.
