Meet Oluwaseyi Hannah Oyediran of House of Anna Couture and Accessories in Frisco

Today we’d like to introduce you to Oluwaseyi Hannah Oyediran.

The brain behind House of Anna Couture and Accessories is God Almighty, using the hands and the mind of Oluwaseyi Hannah Oyediran originally from Nigeria, West Africa. Her passion to create and design started at an early age of eight. Her late father of (blessed memory), was her mentor. She got most of her inspirations and mentorship from him. She learned the most important things in design early in life, which was having an eye for color and paying extreme attention to details. He was a very good designer and sketch artist. She grew up as a Designer’s daughter.

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
The first major struggle I faced was in School at El Centro, in the middle of my program, I lost my dad at the age of 69yrs. It was really painful and hard for me, I almost quit school, but his constant words of encouragement kept ringing in my ears that “winners never quit, and quitters never win.”

Also, I am a mother I have two children now, thank God, It wasn’t easy going to school full time and you have two little children. It was really hard for me amidst all kinds of projects and assignments I needed to complete weekly; I never had enough time with my children during those times, but it was worth it.

On the business aspect, whooo! It has been challenging starting and establishing a fashion business all on your own, but not totally alone, my husband has been a key role player in it all. He has been very supportive of me all the way. Some challenges I had faced since the business kicked off was building my clientele base, creating business awareness, having a great online presence, etc. We have been working on that, still working on it and God has been faithful.

Company Overview: House of Anna couture and accessories is a Haute Couture place that caters majorly to ladies in general and men young and old from all works of life. As we know that bodies, shapes, tastes and desires are different. We strive to make sure you get the best and the quality that you are worth. From our top-notch designs, creativity, one of a kind styles, attention to details, textures, color mix and match, great fit and finish we aim to showcase the best of you.

Mission: Our mission is to empower you, to be you in our work of wearable art.

Products and Services: Our services ranges from bringing a design concept to life from start to finish. Be it a cocktail dress, dinner gown, gala gown, bridal couture, mother of the bride/groom dresses, and bridesmaids dresses. Every step of our design and creation process, from initial consultation to the construction of garment and final pick up, is all done in house.

Has luck played a meaningful role in your life and business?
I really do not believe in luck, but I believe in God. As a child of God, I believe you are the architect of your own destiny. He is the creator. Hence the bible says in Galatians 6:7 NKJV, “Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap.” So I believe strongly that everything I have achieved or not yet achieved is a result of my past and present decisions. I only pray I make the right ones as He leads me.
