Meet Jacqueline Monroe of Crazy Coffee Co LC in Irving

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jacqueline Monroe.

Jacqueline, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
Crazy Coffee Co LC was founded in 2016 by Jacqueline Monroe, an eager but bored coffee drinker who wanted to add some excitement to her daily coffee drinking journey.​ I started selling my coffees to family members and friends hoping they would tell others about their experience taking advantage of word-of-mouth as much as possible.

Ultimately, I wanted to offer unique coffee flavors to other flavor seeking coffee drinkers that they normally can not find in their local coffee shops, grocery stores or specialty shops that offered convenience (make at home or in the office any time you want), affordable pricing (because specialty products could be quite expensive) and availability 6 unique flavors that change every other month.

Today, I am taking advantage of majority of social media outlets to market to coffee drinkers all across the US.

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
It has been exciting, scary, smooth and bumpy because I am relying on my own finances to fund the business in hopes that one day it catches on to the masses and sales pour in.

Some of the struggles are having the marketing dollars to reach your target market.

Crazy Coffee Co offers six unique coffee flavors every other month. The idea is to introduce to coffee drinkers more flavors than what people are accustomed to.

I own the company, so it is up to me to package, market and sell my products.

I am most proud of turning every day plain coffee drinkers into adventurous flavored coffee drinkers.

What sets me apart from others are the flavor choices. People don’t often think of having their cakes, pies and cookies in the flavor of coffees. I try to select flavors that are away from the norm.

What were you like growing up?
Growing up in the Midwest, I was always a go-getter and a leader. I was into the arts so I was always creating and making things my own, and I always knew I did not want to work a regular job, but to own something of my own.
