Today we’d like to introduce you to Jessica Cervantes.
Jessica, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
We started in 2011 in a little corner space of a strip mall in a small town. We have grown into a unique boutique of PinUp and Rockabilly fashions in North Central downtown part of San Antonio. We also continue to reach our customers and fans in the surrounding area with our traveling fashion bus. A cute little shuttle bus converted into a 50’s boutique on wheels.
We are founded and built by Domestic Violence Survivors and strongly believe everyone should feel beautiful. We chose this era of 1940’s through 1960’s fashion era because t was a time in history where women were breaking free of stereotypes and making bold statements with fashion.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
As with every small business, there’s always ups and downs.

We specialize in vintage-inspired reproduction fashions. Our company motto is “Inspiring Confidence in Women through fashion and fun.”. We accomplish this through our PinUp Beauty workshops, Fashion shows where our customers and fans are the models and several charity events.

My biggest supporter and cheerleaders are my family. I also have several customers who inspire me to keep going with their beautiful stories of how we have helped them gain their confidence.
