Today we’d like to introduce you to Jessica Titko and Tiffany Becerra.
Jessica and Tiffany, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
We started our recruiting careers in physician staffing five years ago. It only took five whole minutes into training when we knew that we were going to be besties. We left the physician staffing world to recruit for an investment real estate firm. In less than two years we had built their recruiting department from the ground up. After training and developing 13 junior recruiters across the nation we had a crazy idea to set out on our own. We had nothing to lose and literally overnight, we formed Net Gold. Within in a year, we have done over 30 placements and worked with a multitude of companies in helping them find top talent.
Has it been a smooth road?
We have definitely had our ups and downs, but for the most part it has been one of the best experiences! We know how to work together as a team and really complement each other in our strengths and weaknesses.

How do you think the industry will change over the next decade?
We foresee several big changes over the next 5-10 years. One of those changes will be the average age in the workforce. A new generation is slowly taking over – the millennials. In our parent’s generation, they had one, maybe two jobs in their lifetime and stayed there until they retired, but that just simply isn’t the case anymore. By the year 2025, more than 75% of the entire workforce will be millennials and it’s forcing companies to be a lot more strategic and creative in how they source and recruit new candidates. Majority of millennials are staying an average of 2 years at a position and then moving on due to lack of growth and development opportunities at their company. With social media being everywhere, it isn’t hard to see that friend of theirs making more money, or getting that Director position at a more accelerated rate than where they are now. It’s important to remember that this is a new generation full of entrepreneurs and candidates craving more than just a 9-5 desk job everyday.
