JiaTeia, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
I started by finding something I had a passion for which is jewelry and investing in myself to create an extra stream of income. I have always worn jewelry to showcase uniqueness and I wanted others to be able to stand out the same way on any occasion.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
It hasn’t been a smooth road due to the inconsistency and trying to find the right people to market to. However, I have tried to stand out by bringing a variety of unique piece that I can offer to a diverse crowd of customers.

J Jewels Co is a jewelry business that specializes in personalized jewelry and an array of beautiful pieces that can be combined to make sure you make a statement anywhere you go. I’m most proud of the high-quality products that my company offers. Which is what also sets me apart from the rest. There aren’t too many female jewelers that offer more than just feminine jewelry. My company has something for everyone.
If you had to go back in time and start over, would you have done anything differently?
If I had to start over I would have marketed my products better and strategically planned how to bring my business out to the world. I would have made sure I had my products professionally pictured to pull in my target audience so that they could see how great the quality of my products are from first glance. Product placement is very important in marketing. I know that now.
