Meet Kazhimere Mcfail

Today we’d like to introduce you to Kazhimere Mcfail.

Kazhimere, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
WOW, it has definitely been a long journey for me. Constantly moving forward for a little over three years now. I launched my YouTube channel November of 2015 with the goals to inspire and assist with girl’s normal day-to-day life giving my personal tips and advice that has seemed to attract people to me.

My brand essentially was revolved around me and my life, La’ BellaMag came from me being a magnet, I’ve always attracted attention to myself based on my appearance and how I carry myself and that pretty much started my brand.

The Beauty Magnet — is everything appearance based. I am a Makeup Artist, Stylist, Influencer, Brand Ambassador… I AM MY BRAND & I do it all. Over the past few years, I have been trying to launch my brand and could never seem to get it where I wanted it to be. While doing makeup and styling people inconsistently this past year, I made it a priority to stick to it no matter what life threw at me. In that process, I picked up a few projects and revamped my brand.

With this new journey for my brand it hasn’t been solely focused on me however i still represent my brand. It has been about attracting women to be their own light. I started a Bible Study“Bless Up” and I am currently working on launching a store, as well as a non-profit for young girls. This year, I discovered God is my source. I had no clue that my brand was going to turn into what it is today. It grows larger every day.

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
The road is never smooth, especially when it is coming from GOD… attacks and distractions come and go.

My biggest struggle and the reason why my brand is not where I want it to be is honestly, MYSELF… I have put so much effort into doing things my way that until this year, I never asked GOD what his plans were for me and how am I supposed to be doing things. Another issue has been me not putting me first, I’ve always placed everyone in my life before myself that I lose focus on what needs to be done for me to reach success rather than what I can do to help them reach success. I’ve learned through the growing struggles to be still and surrender.

Please tell us more about your work, what you are currently focused on and most proud of.
Currently I’m working on a lot of things a book, a Tea Series, and a few new ventures i have later down the line.

My main focus is styling and launching my store soon — La’ BellaMag.

Currently, I am proud of my Bible Study and what it is doing in my life and the lives of others—and I am blessed for wisdom and understanding that it is molding my non-profit.

Realistically, I set myself apart from others me being me and not following what the world is doing. My appearance has always put me in front, but as I grow, God and making him the foundation of what I am doing has been giving me so many blessings that I was not receiving before.

What is “success” or “successful” for you?
Success for me at this moment is bringing all the attention I attract to God. I feel like anything I do, as long as I include God and bring attention to his name I have reached success. Now, how far I go is up to God, I am just going to continue to magnify whom he is and see where he takes me. You cannot do it alone, you have to have God and he will supply the rest, the team ‘circle of friends’ the relationship all comes when you align yourself and that’s the real success.
