Today we’d like to introduce you to Ken Krystofik.
Thanks for sharing your story with us Ken. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
Me and my brother started Intellisea when I got out of college at the age of 24. He previously had 14 years of experience in webdesign, development and internet marketing while I had 6 years of experience at the time.
Intellisea first started out as a simple web design LLC but then grew into having SEO, social media and ad management services. This business started because I did not feel comfortable having an internet marketing job where I would manage 100 to 200 customers and only get 30, 40 or 60 thousand dollars a year. With those kind of results, I felt that I would cheat myself out of my own potential. So I went to my brother and pitched him the idea of having our own business. He loved the idea and said “let’s do it.” I was confident with his help that we could create a responsive, transparent and professional internet marketing company.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
It has not been a smooth road and there has been a laundry list of struggles. If you think creating a business with your brother would make the process a little more fun, you would be dead wrong. Every decision has to be overlooked by each other before being implemented. Which doesn’t sound bad but if you’re trying come up with a method to get more customers, it becomes costly. That being said, I don’t think we would be able to overcome our struggles at such a fast rate without two sets of eyes. Because we are team we have been able to develop an effective way to capture and manage new customers.
So, as you know, we’re impressed with Intellisea – tell our readers more, for example what you’re most proud of as a company and what sets you apart from others.
I have to sell, manage and implement our SEO campaigns. What makes intellisea special from everyone else is our responsive communication, we have complete transparency with all of our business clients and our project management is specialized for each customer. For example, if a bigger company manages two jewelry stores in one area they’re going to carry out the same exact internet marketing strategy for the both of them. They would use the same keywords for both clients causing them to compete for the number one spot on the search engines. This water downs each client’s return rate for gaining more customers. Without giving away our strategy, we specialize each of our client’s internet marketing campaign to give them a high return rate; more customers.
So, what’s next? Any big plans?
We have some short term objectives in the works all but of them are leading to one goal, which is getting more customers and improving on management quality. I am confident in the quality of our management now, but there is always room to become better.
