Today we’d like to introduce you to LaDelle Maez.
So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
I have always worked for someone else, and my husband is exact opposite. He has created many companies and been an expert marketer his whole life. So when he came to me with the idea of working for ME, it not only scared the crap out of me, but it got me thinking. A lot of hard work, where would I start? How would I do it? Then I really started thinking- create my own hours, never miss another one of my kid’s functions again. BINGO! There was no stopping us now.
NAJUV comes from “naturally rejuvenating”. David and I have created a way to make already beautiful people feel even better about themselves. Whether it’s a few drops of Botox or two syringes of lip filler. Each person is different and our goal is to boost confidence. We only offer injectables. Thats it. No list of confusing treatments. Simple but defining. My background is in the medical world. I am a Registered Nurse so rest assured my clients are in safe hands! David has been marketing for over 14 years and had multiple startup companies. So with his expert branding help and my hand, we are unstoppable yet very grateful to be able to offer a different kind of med spa to Plano.
Has it been a smooth road?
Although we both work for ourselves now, it has not been an easy road. David waited tables and served hot coffee in his early college years. I was a single mom in college night classes and working full time promising myself I wouldn’t give up. Many late nights of work for him and studying for me only to wake up at 4am and get to Clinical’s by 6am. It was exhausting but definitely worth the work! He now co-owns two successful businesses, and I graduated with my bachelor in Nursing and opened my own business as well!
So let’s switch gears a bit and go into the Najuv Aesthetics story. Tell us more about the business.
David is the behind the scenes guy working hard on marketing, business plans, and the look of NAJUV, while I inject and create smoother skin and fuller lips!
We offer all kinds of injectables like Botox, Xeomin, many fillers, B12 energy shots and more. We want to keep it simple by only doing injections for now, while most med spas offer a list of things from laser hair, to tattoo removal. In my opinion, I want to be the best injector I can be and for that to happen my focus needs to only be on injections.
As a company, we are proud of a safe but fun environment and making people feel confident and sexy!
How do you think the industry will change over the next decade?
Our vision is to expand with possibly multiple locations. We would love to offer some expert training as well.
