Today we’d like to introduce you to Mason Adams.
Mason grew up in Bonham, Texas surrounded by great musicians. Most all of which were family or close family friends. Mason started his musical journey in Bonham as a drummer/percussionist at the age of 9. Soon, he developed a love for writing, mostly poetry and short stories. His love for story telling is certainly evident in his songwriting. Mason was in a couple of bands in high school in which he played drums and some bass guitar. During college he pursued rap and produced music, performing small shows at venues in Kansas, and selling mixtapes.
In 2015, he began writing songs for guitar and has been writing and honing his craft ever since. Mason’s storytelling, relatability, and emotion-evoking writing style are what make the music appealing to a wide range of listeners, as well as blending genres from Americana, folk and blues, to country, rock, and improvisational jamming.
‘Mason Adams Project’ formed in 2017, and is beginning to gain popularity in the Dallas/Fort Worth music scene.

Has it been a smooth road?
I would say the biggest struggle was forming the band. Finding guys that were able to put their egos aside and work towards the common goal of having fun and making music. Also, find personalities that would all work together. These guys are my brothers, and MAP wouldn’t be anywhere without all of these guys!
So, as you know, we’re impressed with Mason Adams Project – tell our readers more, for example what you’re most proud of as a company and what sets you apart from others.
We are super proud of our progress as a band. We believe that our sound is what sets us apart from other bands. We hit on a lot of different genres so we appeal to a wide range of listeners. We also have the ability to play to our audience. On any given night you may get a little bluegrass, southern rock, blues, country, Texas country/red dirt, Indy rock, etc.
Let’s touch on your thoughts about our city – what do you like the most and least?
We like what is becoming of the Dallas music scene. The sense of community is stronger than ever and we are loving the support from the community and other bands!
