Today we’d like to introduce you to Mica Rose.
Mica, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
I had a rough childhood coming up. My father was incarcerated for most of my childhood and my mother got on drugs really bad and she left when I was 15. I was in and out of different homes and was sometimes even homeless. I had my daughter at 18 and decided I wanted something different for her. I did not want her to go through what I went through so I got a job as a banker.
After five years of being a banker I decided I wanted to start a career rather than just having a job so I went to get my real estate license. While working in real estate, I went to get my esthetics license because of my passion for beauty. I had always felt like something was missing.
In my early 20s, I started to have dizzy spells when I would go out in public and would sometimes even pass out. I was diagnosed with vertigo but there wasn’t anything that they could prescribe me to stop it from happening. That time was one of the most difficult times in my life. I didn’t want to go anywhere except work and school and it was not fun!
I met a friend when I was in school to become an esthetician and one day, she asked me to go to the metaphysical store with her. This was not my thing at all and I was biased but something told me to go. As soon as I walked in it was a rush of energy. I got more dizzy than ever before and had to walk outside to get myself together. When I walked back in I was immediately attracted to the crystals. I went to look at a display case and felt a rush of energy. I placed my hand out and it seemed that the feeling was coming from a specific crystal. I had to test my theory so I had the associate to pull it out and my theory was right. I had to have it, I loved the way it made me feel and something just told me to get it. It was malachite, a very powerful stone, known as the stone of transformation and help me to transform it did. In researching the stone and seeing that its healing properties were exactly what I needed at that time, I was able to find out that I could feel the energy.
In feeling energy, I was able to learn that I am an empath and there were others out there like me that had went through what I was going through. I became empowered to use my gift instead of having something I didn’t understand take over my life. I now know which crystals to help support me not to feel overwhelmed in public. I know what crystals to use to help me to feel grounded, safe, loved, and so on. I wished I had known of the magical gifts that we have been blessed with sooner! I wanted to share my experience and help others to experience the magic of crystals and energy work in the way that I have.
I created Cosmic Rise Healing Boutique in 2019 and I am so excited to be able to support others in their spiritual journey. I always had a busy lifestyle so I used crystal jewelry to help support me in my journey. This is why I felt that it was important to offer an array of different crystals in jewelry form. We offer all types of spiritual tools and free healing tips to support others in their awakening. So that’s my story and why I am so passionate about crystals and teaching others about them!
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
The biggest struggle has been keeping business steady during COVID 19. The plan was to open up shop sooner but it has been delayed with all that is going on.

If you had to go back in time and start over, would you have done anything differently?
I would have started sooner! I had so many doubts and fears which held me back from meeting my full potential. I know that I would have been a lot farther today if I would have broken free of the restraints that fear brought on sooner! I am, however, very grateful for the experience of growth!
