Today we’d like to introduce you to Trayvon McDuffie.
Trayvon, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
We started in 2017 simply after seeing an inspiring quote via social media on Odell Beckham’s Instagram page. It simply stated, “FEAR Forget everything and run or FACE EVERYTHING AND RISE”. That quote related so much to what I was going through at the moment, I loved the acronym and that sparked the idea. I was going through personal issues and needed to indulge in something I was passionate about which was fashion, so I figured why not start my own clothing brand. I’ve been really into fashion since the 8th grade after years of being bullied I used my clothes & dressing nicely as my shield growing up and eventually it made me extremely popular all throughout high school and proceeding into my adult life. Fast forward two years later with the help of my girlfriend who is now CO Owner of FEAR helped motivate me to take the brand more seriously. We have only grown and are constantly growing daily to expand my brand. We’ve had seven of the top celebrities/social media influencers In our clothing, people such as JessHilarious, Desi Banks, Queen Naija & Clarence, DDG, & Brandon T Jackson. Our sales have also spiked tremendously. We only plan to keep expanding and influencing fashion culture.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
I must admit it hasn’t been a smooth road. Many days & Nights without any sleep. Some of the struggles I’ve come across while trying to expand Fear as a brand are not being able to stay consistent with high-quality marketing and promotion.

Do you look back particularly fondly on any memories from childhood?
My favorite memory from my childhood is when my mom bought me my very first car at the age of 15 brand new off of the lot.
