Today we’d like to introduce you to Valerie Warrior.

Valerie, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
Before venturing into the world of entrepreneur and skincare, I was an Accountant by education & trade. For over 25 years, I worked in in corporate America in various industries, such as banking, mortgage lending and telecommunications. I decided 10 years ago to retire from the corporate world after my youngest son graduated from high school and went to college.

I have no regrets about walking away from corporate America on my own terms. I can truly say, “I LOVE MY WORK”… I offer a multitude of services including: body contouring, body wraps, airbrush tanning, eyelash extensions, micro-needling facials, microblading, permanent cosmetics, bra fitting, waist training and weight loss management.

I am very passionate about skincare and I know it’s my God given talent and purpose. Through providing my services, I simply love making women happier, smile and feel good about themselves when they look in the mirror.

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Being an entrepreneur has definitely not been a smooth road or all cookies and ice-cream! I have had business successes and failures.

About 6 years ago, with a friend as my business partner, I operated a building that was 5000 square feet… She was a group fitness and Pilates Instructor. We were a perfect match of beauty, wellness and fitness. Unfortunately, my business partner went through a very messy divorce. Her finances and mental health were both affected, which ultimately affected the business.

I struggled for 6 months paying the finances for both. When my lease expired, I moved into a smaller, more affordable building, that alone was the perfect fit and suited for my business model.

Please tell us about Bliss Med Spalon.
Bliss Beauty Spalon is a serene, quaint studio specializing in a multitude of services including: body contouring, body wraps, airbrush tanning, eyelash extensions, micro-needling facials, microblading, permanent cosmetics. bra fitting, waist training and weight loss management.

Bliss Beauty Spalon is best known for its body pampering, body slimming contours and infrared body wraps! We use and exclusive slimming gel, known as the Skinny Dip that increasing the metabolism and offers exceptional inch loss.

At Bliss Beauty Studio, our mission is to ALWAYS provide exceptional, personal and professional celebrity spa treatments. We aim to ALWAYS provide a unique, red carpet solution delivered by professionals who represent the finest levels of service, providing individualized treatments. We will build and maintain a nurturing and caring environment for our most important asset, our most valued clients!

Do you look back particularly fondly on any memories from childhood?
My favorite childhood memory is learning how to drive, taking the written and driving tests, passing both and getting my driver’s license.
